This is a short ‘making of’ video I put together for Lee Woodman, a Nelson artist. I shot the opening footage, Lee supplied the time-lapse (from a GoPro), the stills and final clip of sculpture from a point and shoot. Found some great music by Mathieu Lamontagne & Emmanuel Toledo which suited the contemplative mood of the sculpture.
Always a fun journey creating videos like this, working with available material to try and capture the essence of something in its particular spacial context.
The sculpture is currently on display at The Suter Art Gallery in Nelson.
