This was my first visit to the Gallipoli exhibition at Te Papa – an immersive and quite frankly, disturbing experience.
It’s a masterful piece of work telling the story of our involvement in that conflict through personal accounts using a range of media and displays. Educational and emotive, it’s a fitting tribute to the courage of those who suffered the ravages of war so far from home.
The work on the x2.5 scale figures is amazing.
All images taken handheld on a Panasonic G85 with the LUMIX G VARIO 12-60/F3.5-5.6 and processed in darktable.
