This was my first visit to the Gallipoli exhibition at Te Papa – an immersive and quite frankly, disturbing experience.
It’s a masterful piece of work telling the story of our involvement in that conflict through personal accounts using a range of media and displays. Educational and emotive, it’s a fitting tribute to the courage of those who suffered the ravages of war so far from home.
The work on the x2.5 scale figures is amazing.
All images taken hand-held on a Panasonic G85 with the LUMIX G VARIO 12-60/F3.5-5.6 and processed in darktable.
