This weeks pic is presented in spirit of the “Invisible: Art about the Unseen 1957 – 2012” exhibition currently on show at London’s Hayward Gallery.
London’s Hayward Gallery has assembled 50 “invisible” works by famous artists including Andy Warhol, Yves Klein and Yoko Ono for an upcoming exhibition, thought to be the first of its kind in Britain.
So rather than impose some arbitrary visual constraint upon you this week I’ve chosen to use a ‘blank canvas’. Please – let your imagination run free.
Ralph Rugoff, director of the Hayward Gallery: “Art is really about ideas, its not about looking at things.”
Thank you Ralph, that was beautiful.
