Punakaiki Pancake Rocks and Blowholes – West Coast, New Zealand [Video]

Spent some time on the West Coast in May 2022 doing a few walks, seeking out rare fungi and generally enjoying the vibe of this awesome area of NZ.

We visited the Pancake Rocks on our way back home just as the tide was peaking and there was a bit of swell. Took a few quick shots on our way around the walk.

Bit of fun watching and listening as the waves crashing in.

The limestone landscape is always interesting to see. Blowholes and surge pools on the walk are good fun and very impressive when the conditions are right.
