This is a short ‘making of’ video I put together for Lee Woodman, a Nelson artist. I shot the opening footage, Lee supplied the time-lapse (from a GoPro), stills and final clip of sculpture from a point and shoot. Found some great music by Mathieu Lamontagne & Emmanuel Toledo which suited the contemplative mood of the sculpture and setting.
Always a fun journey creating videos like this, working with available material to try and capture the essence of something in its particular spacial context.
The sculpture was on display at Nelson’s Suter Art Gallery in the latter half of 2017.
