Te Ramaroa 2021 – Nelson Light Festival, ran for 5 days (9-13 July) and was centred around Nelson’s historic Church Hill/Piki mai.
On the western side of Piki Mai the ‘Nag’ installation was a popular spot with a fun vibe, producing a pedal powered book publication each night.
“5ever x Nag is a low-fi hi-brow diamond cut book kiln purple sheen. It makes the book object but you have to make the book. Every half hour (or so) the system discharges all stored (human) energy and (print) matter into the latest proof of Nagology: an exercise in mattering. Enter your will/words/wits/work into orbit and behold their precipitation into hard matter, or exhaust yourself trying.”
